The hip way to showcase your destination

Snapchat Geofilters are the perfect way to show off your event and increase brand awareness for your destination. Broadway in Tucson recently partnered with us to create several geofilters that showcased their musical season. Anyone in a 25 meter radius around Centennial Hall on the University of Arizona campus was able to snap a photo of themselves, framed by the filter of the current-running show.

Those who are posting get even more excited about the event they’re attending, but the real benefit comes from them sharing the snap with friends and on their Snapchat story. All of their friends can view their story. The snaps increase the sense of FOMO—fear of missing out—in viewers, which spurs them to dream about visiting the event and your destination.

So who can you reach?

Millennials account for 70% of Snapchat users1, but don’t be fooled, they aren’t the only ones utilizing this awesome social tool. 5.9 million Gen Xers have Snapchat accounts2. That’s a whole bunch of people you can inspire.
